Earlier work was well positioned with emerging  provincial priorities and in early 2019 the Working Group ensured the project's alignment with the Early Identification Indicator in the 2019-20 Health Quality Ontario QIP as well as OPCN's recently released Tools to Support Earlier Identification for Palliative Care and Health Services Delivery Framework.

The Coordination of Palliative Care Project is now known as the Early Identification for Palliative Care Project.
